This was a business trip for me and three other coworkers, we slept comfortably and at ease. Great layout, it was a vey functional and spacious. “The house is awesome! It is light, bright and spacious as pictured, with a great feel. It is in a quiet neighborhood yet within easy walking distance of 2 restaurants, a coffee shop, a bar and a convenience store, all excellent. If you walk a little further there are even more choices.

The kitchen is really well equipped with an excellent coffee station that includes a cappuccino maker. The 3 bedrooms upstairs are really comfortable and private. We were three couples and the place was just perfect although more people could fit. There is a pullout couch downstairs and air mattresses.

Adam is the most responsive host ever, getting back within 15 minutes. We all agreed that it was the perfect choice and we would definitely stay there again.”

“Hands-down the most flexible, understanding, and trustworthy hosts on airbnb! The communication was solid, and it made our one-night stay a delight. I hope my group showed our respect and appreciation from y'all's point of view because it was the best place for us to just go home after a four hour boat ride + dinner and simply relax before passing out for the night.

Honestly I think we lucked out that we were able to even get one night at this place on Labor Day weekend...if anyone reading this is considering this house, just know that it could (and SHOULD) be booked by anyone else in a few minutes because it's SO worth it!”

“This was the third time I've stayed at Adam's house with colleagues while in Austin. I keep coming back to this house because Adam is a fantastic host - friendly, flexible, helpful, and super responsive. Also, the house is super spacious and really nice (we all secretly wish we lived there:)). We feel safe in the neighborhood and we're only a short 10 minute cab ride from some of our fave bars in East Austin. I can say with 100% certainty that I'll be staying at Adam's house again the next time I'm in Austin.”

“Hands down this was by far the best Airbnb we have stayed in! The house is beautifully furnished, and extremely comfortable. I can’t think of a single thing that I felt was missing, in fact we all were so impressed with all the added extra touches, such as blankets in the couch, several coffee machines, great quality soaps, shampoos etc. We found the kitchen was really well equipped, and enjoyed cooking and just hanging out in the gorgeous open plan space.

Adam has a great comic and book collection, which we all enjoyed, another unexpected treat.

“We are familiar with Austin and needed to evacuate Houston during Hurricane Harvey. Adam was so incredibly kind. We were not sure if we could even make it out of the city and he was so gracious and basically said "the house is reserved for you and your family as long as you need, be safe and let us know what you need."

We did indeed make it and the house was a welcome change of pace for my husband and two kids.

There was plenty of space for us to spread out and deal with our mess of stuff we brought with us. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. The kitchen was in good order. We cooked quite a few meals while we were there.

The bedrooms / beds / linens were fresh and comfortable. The only thing I noticed was that sound traveled easily upstairs but did not cause any issues because we have white noise apps on the devices we brought.

Our kids (age 3 and 8) had room to play and I wasn't worried about them getting into trouble with something breakable or dangerous. We spent most mornings outside with a coffee and the kids made things out of the rocks in the front yard. The tennis ball pillows were a huge hit

For families with young kids considering this house I would say it would work well. Kitchen... I did grab some plastic cups/plates/bowls at HEB because I didn't want to worry about them breaking a plate. Baths- had no problems with the bathtub etc. Sleeping - great arrangements and plenty of room for a pack and play in the master or secondary bedrooms.

Location was good for us. Big HEB nearby and Target - did the Thinkery museum and even managed to get tickets to the UT game while we were there. Plenty of out to eat options nearby too.

“Adam's home was perfect! Very modern, open and spacious, lots of natural light and overall a very comfortable stay for a family weekend trip to my sister's UT graduation. The UT campus was just on the other side of I-35. There were some good food places within walking distance (east side pies) and it was just a few minutes drive to 6th street and the downtown area.

Although I didn't get to meet Adam, we met his father who was really nice and helpful. Adam was very quick to respond by text/phone with any questions or concerns we had. We had such a great experience. I highly recommend staying here!”
